1. Agreement — These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Aurora Sussex Home Care website and the home care services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you accept these terms.
2. Our Services — Aurora Sussex Home Care ("we", "us") is a Calgary-based home care agency providing RN-led personal support, companionship, homemaking, respite care, dementia support, and nursing services. Every client relationship begins with a free in-home assessment by a Registered Nurse, followed by a written, personalised care plan.
3. Assessments & Care Plans — Care is delivered according to your written care plan. If your needs change, we will reassess and update the plan in consultation with you and your family. We may adjust or decline services where we determine we cannot safely meet a client's needs.
4. Fees, Billing & Payment — Fees are confirmed in writing before care begins, and payment terms are set out in your service agreement. Government-funded care is billed according to the applicable program's rules.
5. Scheduling & Cancellation — Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a visit. Short-notice cancellations may be billed as set out in your service agreement.
6. Caregiver Screening & Safety — Our caregivers are screened, including vulnerable sector checks, and work under Registered Nurse oversight. Clients are asked to maintain a safe home environment and to share relevant health and safety information with us.
7. Limitation of Liability — To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the services giving rise to the claim.
